Container Surcharge Update

We hope you have had a successful back to school.

We are writing to advise that due to the continuing huge increase in freight costs from the Far East (see chart below) we have no option other than to increase the surcharge on items made offshore to 6% from October 1st.

Our School ties and other products made in the UK are not affected.

As previously stated we will of course reduce / remove the surcharge once rates return to something like normal and we will be reviewing the % on a monthly basis. {The surcharge is applied at the point of order}.


Tiered Price List

We had previously advised that we would be moving to a Tiered Pricing structure from Oct 1st. This will not be happening now as we feel it would add extra complication to the prices at a time when clarity is needed. We now expect to introduce this in 12 months’ time.
