Strikes at Felixstowe Port

IMPORTANT NOTICE
STRIKE AT FELIXSTOWE PORT – 21ST TO 29TH AUGUST
DELIVERIES AFFECTED
Please read the attached letter from DSV regarding the planned strike action at Felixstowe Port.
We know that this will affect one bag container that is due to dock on 20th August and was originally planned to be with us on 25th August. All customers with made to order items on this container have been notified to expect a delay.
A consignment of acrylic hats (SH98 Ski Hats and KBH08 Beanie Hats) is also due to dock on 26th August so will be delayed. We have good stock levels in place for these items which more than covers all orders already in the system.
Thankfully, the container of summer boaters and felt hats (now docking 26th August) is planned to dock at London Gateway, so will hopefully not be affected. However, DSV have warned that service levels from other ports could be affected if containers are redirected from Felixstowe.
As soon as we have any more information, we will post an update on our website.
